Rock On Pewter Motif on Chrome Glasses Case Music Gift
This unique and useful Glasses Case would make the ideal gift for any Rock Music enthusiast!
The 'Rock on' Symbol, with the index finger up, middle fingers down, pinky up, thumb in, is the salute synonymous with rock and heavy metal music across the world.
The symbol, also known as 'the devil's horns' or 'sign of the horns', was popularised by Ozzy Osbourne's Black Sabbath replacement, the late Ronnie James Dio, who started making the hand-horns on stage around 1979.He claimed his Italian grandmother used it to ward off the evil eye (which is known in Southern Italy as malocchio).
The motif is cast in pewter then hand polished, before being attached securely to the top of the glasses case.
The solid case, with spring hinge, is coated inside with a black velvet flock. There is also a handy elastic loop inside the case, ideal to hold a cleaning cloth.
The approximate internal dimensions of the case are 145 mm long x 45 mm wide x 30 mm deep and it comes carefully packaged.
